Hey,
Have you ever thought of living till the age of 100? Well, it doesn't matter if you live for 100 thousand years, what matters is how well you live. Our quality of life is defined by how satisfied we are each day. It also depends on our surroundings (except when you have attained inner peace)
Living a vibrant life is not a metaphysical concept.
It is about how one can make the most out of the human experience with our spiritual soul.
To live a fulfilled life, we not only need to be a better version of ourselves but also provide better companionships.
What it means to be a better companion can be simply stated as-
You are in peace with yourself - You are free from stress, disease, grudges, ill will, etc.
You are in peace with the people around you - You do not add discomfort to others, you respect every human, and you do not make others’ life difficult.
You are in peace with nature - You do not harm animals, trees, and other creatures without necessity. You act according to the natural laws, you think long-term.
We will get back to these points as we move ahead. But till that time, think about and make a list of what improvements you can do when it comes to becoming a responsible companion.
Think about what changes you can make in your life to let this change happen. And once you've done, share the list with me.
Today's Quote
“We are not physical beings having a spiritual experience; we are spiritual beings having a physical experience.”
― Pierre Teilhard de Chardin
Let us revise some basics
Humans are the most celebrated living creature in the history of this planet. In this sense, you should express gratitude to your parents, let alone to the universe.
Do you know that you inherit everything from your parents? Oh, I don't mean the property. But, you inherit their features, traits, character, likes, and shapes. In essence, you are a software copy in new hardware. Things that you do not inherit are their memory.
Who is responsible for this transfer? Scientists, after 50-year-long research, were able to conclude that chromosomes are the physical carriers of hereditary information. This information is carried in the form of genes.
When I say that you cannot inherit the memory of your parents, it means that each human needs to be trained to behave as a human. And we all have taken that training through self-perception, learning from parents, schooling, reading, interacting, etc. The imprints that we have got in our childhood remain with us as we grow.
So, we behave as we are taught. If you’ve not been taught to love, live, and let live, you might end up living a troubled life. And that might not always be beneficial for your growth, society, and environment.
We'll learn the how's and why's in upcoming letters. Till that time stay safe and keep learning.
